Which Religion Will Rule Next? (Page 7)

ghostgeek: Britain will leave the E.U., which will then grow into the Beast of Revelation? How the hell do Yanks know what's going to happen on this side of the "Pond" when we who live here haven't a clue?

Laura _: There is a whole book on it. Jacob blessed Joseph's sons Manasseh and Ephraim in Genesis 48.

In the Blessing Jacob says "Let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth." last part of verse 16.

Verse 19 says the younger brother will be greater and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.

sprocket girl:
To clarify the UK will not leave the EU.... There is no way unless the EU has major changes. Now the EU may fail or disband if say Germany leaves (which they have invested a lot to just abondone). But the UK leaving would require a massive change and others leaving also.

Personally... I think the EU will grow slightly in members then stay as it is. It is strictly economics and has little to do with military. I do think it is somewhat harmful for the UK to be a member but it is difficult to pinpoint the cause of economic struggles in the UK. There are too many causes to name. One good thing about the EU is money exchange and another is EU work and travel permits granting ease of relocating around Europe.

Thinking the EU has anything to do with Biblical Revelations is kinda a stretch. It requires dismissing which armies Revollutions claim will invade Isreal. It also unless Italy and Spain leave also would have armies not mentioned in Revelations invading Isreal. Also the EU is not a military pact but only economical. If a country in the EU takes military action the others have no requirement to assist and the air bombing of ISIS is evidence that all EU countries are not defense and militarily united. Main issue is still that the invading armies of Isreal mentioned in scripture are not EU nations.... I looked at the weblink and they flat out left scripture out to make the EU fit.. Plus, countries have to leave the EU even in that example.

It may be the end of times but be weary of anyone declaring signs as scripture states the beast will be the one doing that.

ghostgeek: The EU has many of the attributes of a loose-knit empire. However long they last, all such empires have always crumbled. I'm pessimistic that the EU will fare any better.

Zanjan: Chay "All your modern laws is already ending up fatal, it leads to construction........"

Damn, I never thought of going out there and destroying everything around me. Nevermind, I have this notion you guys in the Middle East don't need my help.

I agree with Ghost that your daily focus on vice seems disturbingly obsessive. Freud would say this is like the little boy who socks a girl in class because he likes her.

Empires are no longer popular - inside the expanding circle of humanity, exclusiveness has disapeared, relegated to tiny pockets in the Amazon rainforest and Central Africa. Even then, I've seen some tribals wearing plaid shorts and T-shirts.

Zanjan: Islam isn't "growing" because it's cemented in the past. It's membership is expanding because the world is so perverse right now. At one time, Islam only attracted the worthy but now it's attracting more and more perverse people and the Muslim community is dealing with that in different ways.

This is why the Muslim community is experiencing an identity crisis - that its members (branches) are split right down the middle with each side valuing something completely different. This truth can't be hidden.

As Jesus, in His great wisdom, said, "A house divided cannot stand". One should learn the lessons of past religions.

I stand beside those good Muslims who value Islam for its own values. "We" aren't divided. We hold each others' hand and keep standing strong together while the rotten side falls.

mindlessselfindulge: @chay just beat my record for most ignorant comment I seen. This is why I hate religion and arguing about it...people get so judgmental on others: Not by their sins, not by what the individual person has done but by simply being ignorant enough to vulgarly insult, in this case the entirety of all Muslims. I don't like arguing, but sometimes I just have to step up when I see something so dehumanizing and offensive said. Personally I wish atheism would be more accepted, then people would have less excuses to be sexist and racist.
ps. If your going to send some nasty message to me because I'm not a theist: hold your thought and think about the humanity of each living person, regardless of their difference in opinion.
