Cenababy: born again Christian simply by genuinely putting his/her trust in Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour (John 3:16, John 1:12). Salvation & eternal life is a free gift of God through Christ (Romans 6:23). We are saved by grace and not by our own merit or works (Ephesians 2:8) and Jesus is the only way by whom we can be reconciled to God and have eternal life (John 14:6).

Therefore we do not become Christians / saved / born again as a result of our own works or personal merit but we become Christians by the grace of God through placing our faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:

Cenababy: Here are a few more.... Faith in Jesus alone, Validating a church to join i.e. Bedlock whole gospel in other words a Bible teaching church, Timptation is not a sin it is the yawning to the temptation that is a sin so let Jesus and the Holy Spirit fight for you. John 15 Colin 1 - 11, there is no salvation outside of the body most christians understand this and this is a requirement, be obedient to Jesus let him guide your life, live generously in faith, One must be born again in water and of the Holy Spirit for a fresh and renewed mind and heart, love God with all your heart mind and soul, understand that there is no way to God except through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior, understand that God is a triune being that is the father the son and the Holy Spirit and without the 3 you are not Christian.

Cenababy: Salvation through grace is a requirement in Christianity as that is our whole basis for our faith in belief, repentance, repeat to Jesus for all your wrong doing. Live your life as you know Jesus would want you to give the old away and walk in the new life regarding all human beings but to turn away from sin, as The Bible teaches the eyes are the windows to the soul and even the devil can get in in other words guard your eyes keep them on God and do not let the evil and sin of the world N.

Cenababy: So in other words being a Christian is living by face knowing that you have salvation through grace and only Jesus Christ our Lord can give you that period be a Beacon of light in life show by the way you walk. It is very simple to turn your life around when you keep the above in mind what would Jesus do and how would Jesus want you to be a new human being.

Zanjan: Cena: "understand that God is a triune being that is the father the son and the Holy Spirit and without the 3 you are not Christian. "

Jesus never said that. Therefore, HE didn't set that as criteria.

"Salvation through grace is a requirement in Christianity "

This is not a requirement that any soul can fill - only the Divine Saviour can give one salvation - it's the blessing.

How do you know you've been saved and from what have you been saved? How can you prove to others you've been saved? If you knew that, then there would be no need to make an effort and no need for judgment at death.

You've been given a promise, not a guarantee. This promise of salvation has conditions attached. If you meet them, you will enter heaven.

Zanjan: Hydroman: " Criteria that makes one a Christian - one must be a sinner."

If the Christian is still sinning, they've not been reborn. If re-born, they no longer sin. If there is no re-birth, than the individual hasn't been saved from anything, hasn't been living differently than others or the way they used to, regardless of what they believe or how much faith they have.

Therefore, re-birth depends on the individual, who must use their own will power. One can't just hope for it.

Cenababy: Secondly, when I post I use examples of scripture and_/or scripture itself. Surely you are not suggesting that you know more about my faith than I do??? It would seem that I might know a bit more about my faith. I am merely pointing out most nit all guidelines that Christian's should be able to agree with per bible, per criteria and why we believe as we do. As in my other blog about christianity, not all can claim Christian without these guidelines, there is mainstream christianity and the sects outside of that such as... SDA., JW , QUACKER, MORMON, ETC., they DO NOT FALL INTO THE "CHR IUISTIAN" category as most believe. If you listen to most pastors, they agree those sects do not follow as we do. A perfect example if this is, Joel osteen, have you seen the articles from other pastors? Its very interesting. Joel believes there are different paths to God, that Is not biblical doctrine, christianity. !

Zanjan: Cena: " Surely you are not suggesting that you know more about my faith than I do???"

If you meant your 'religion', then, yes, it looks that way. Jesus never mentioned the trinity......no such idea is in the Bible. Christianity has been around for thousands of years; while it's morphed through all states, it's not rocket science and hasn't been hidden from the public. What did Jesus say to Nicodemus? You've never answered that one.

What are you saved from?

I've heard many Christians say they were born again; some of them I personally knew well and saw no sign of it. Such a thing would be so dramatic, no one could possibly miss it, not your whole family, not your friends, not even an atheist.

One doesn't control grace. While the Savior assists, He doesn't do it for them. He requires the individual's co-operation and total commitment; otherwise, He would have saved everyone on the planet all by Himself. That's beyond the pale.

I know what the diversity of beliefs are among Christians - I'm not speaking to those because they mean nothing. Many of them are absurd notions.....I prefer facts so, I'm talking about the reality of what God has said and done, and He is consistent.

Since JESUS described how a real Christian should behave, we don't need to add to that. He would not have said to anyone "Go and sin no more" if that was impossible. God doesn't give anyone a burden greater than they can bear.

Cenababy: Whoa, the word trinity is not there however the idea, the understanding is, one example is John 1, this is about Jesus and God and the holy spirit, not a multiple personality disorder. Also see Genesis, "in our image" again not a psych issue.

Ofcourse believe as you wish I am speaking from a c if Kristian point of view and what we believe. "Without posting scripture". 😉
