The Bible (Page 8) srbiddy09: @Genesis: You are an ignorant and narrow-minded fool. Please find somewhere else to post your religious nonsense. TY GeraldtheGnome: If the God you mentioned is made up then there is no evidence of the rejection of that God, if that God is real then there is no rejection of God since they see no evidence that he does exist, it is not evidence that there is Satan, that those on here that don’t agree with your way of thinking are Satan’s own and rejectors of a God that in all reality may not exist. Ignorance and arrogance is never the way to convince anyone that you’re right. I’m not an Atheist, yet if one of them tells me that any God or Gods certainly aren’t real without showing the evidence for that claim then it will show that that Atheist is as ignorant and arrogant as you are Genesis. It’s always better to eat Humble Pie after being shown that something you’re so certain about is wrong or at least possibly wrong. (Edited by GeraldtheGnome) G e n e s i s: ? You never came in, unless you're another oddball multi accounter on here... which wouldn't surprise me, I guess. srbiddy09: It has been found that there is a strong correlation between having low intelligence and supporting Donald J. Trump. srbiddy09: Yes, and sadly they are too ignorant to understand how he manipulated them to serve his own needs. There is a very fine line between political and religious "messiahs," but both appeal to the same simple-minded acolytes. MJ59: I suppose these simple folk just need someone to beleive in because they have no belief in themselves G e n e s i s: He edited his comment to say 'I just ghosted his room'. Dude, you're a very weird person with too much time on his hands. The rest of this chatter here is nothing but children's hour. srbiddy09: @Genesis: "Nothing but children's hour." LOL That's an interesting comment from someone who has consistently demonstrated a childish and simple-minded understanding of religion. As I've suggested previously, if you don't like the content on this forum, please stop posting here. TY Solvento: About the Bible there is certainly no way to circumvent a strong sentiment. I couldn't see the Bible as being written in bad taste but it has signs of corruption from the writters, we can all assume they were meaning to explain those moral deficts as they were explaining thier book because they were scholars who were morally competent in a literary sense. There was a couple of times when I physically threw the Bible across the room but in my defense it explained that reading that would upset some individuals. As a work of literature I would say it was baby sitters club, goosebumps and that book from Never Ending Story all wrapped in one. It's cheeky (yes, that word) and unapologetically violent and abusive to the sub-conscious inkling of a genius mind. But I also felt like, personally, it had a right to be as a result of its creator being a omnipotent omniscient being..! The book was bound to be a little spooky around the corners. And perhaps scentient (alive). Our present social journey might be a factor in its reception, it is bound in dead animal skins...but, we can also take into account that it is something written meant to be interpreted through the ages and for ages to come. It is the passage of the human condition. As a book, it's Historic (if a thing could be history itself it would be the bible). But as a Bible, it is like someone folded out Human Being as an annex and defined the human soul as a long list of moral failures that leads directly to the extinction of persons genetically destitute of virtue... and it's anti-dotes. So it's important..! Simply, it's literary relevant. MJ59: Not what I'm seein in the religion threads Everyone's got a different one and theirs is the right one! Solvento: It's so nice to know someone cares... about these things... and such. What point are you actually making beaver-face? GeraldtheGnome: Any Book that has been around for ages is historical, no matter if it's a Fairy Tale, a based on real events Book or a Fantasy Book such as the Bible. I like that song by the way, that's why I let it be known that I like it. garryhr1234: the Bible is a history of the relationship God has with His people we are to learn from the interactions of God and whom He deals with | Religion Chat Room 24 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
