Looks like a rant and now with insults. No sign of a coherent rebuttal, but signs that your are agitated with being disagreed with. And very emotional.

You are the one who addressed me, now you are worked up that I have clarified my view of the topic. You know that you can’t handle me, GeraldtheGnome, yet you put yourself through the torture.

GeraldtheGnome: You are wrong, I like people disagreeing with me, but when some self righteous Guy that never thinks that he’s ever wrong decides to be unfair to me then I crack down on it. So go away or be fair, it’s your choice. No torture here, it’s you that hates being disagreed with and if you look up the DSM 5 under personality disorders then you’d understand what I’m getting at. Another thing you shouldn’t start a sentence with and, even though many now do that.

I have responded to the topic and you have come to me to express your feelings.

I know that you want some retribution/apology because you felt that you are being treated unfairly. I decline. You are the one who has thrown insults and a rant instead of keeping focused on the discussion.

So far you have called me a one eye troll, and insinuated that I have a personality disorder.

Reads as emotionally driven projections.

You like submitting yourself to humiliation apparently.

And this is life. And people will disagree with you and present their reasons. And in return you can do the same. And so far you have opted to use weak grade insults and throw a tantrum.

I have edited this to begin my sentences with the word ‘And’. Does that bother you? Makes you feel less in control?

GeraldtheGnome: I put what was so, not my feelings, it literally isn’t a discussion, I don’t care that you have a very high opinion of yourself, your self importance means nothing to me, you like to be unfair, you yourself hate criticism, it’s not an emotional response, just a statement of what you are like. I told you that the Bible is grammatically incorrect yet instead of telling me that you agree to disagree you made it go the way you always want things to go. You mentioned you think that it is well written, that’s all you had to mention, the rest was nothing about the subject. I’m not humiliated. This whole site isn’t about you, just letting you know. You insulted me elsewhere so don’t pretend to be a Saint. Control is what you are for, not me, besides an English teacher will mark any of of mistakes down as grammatical errors, that includes using and at the start of a sentence, so it isn’t about what I personally want.

You felt wounded that I did not watch your YouTube videos and remained unconvinced? You have not addressed the points I have stated, instead you stated “wrong” and sat waiting to be commended.

I am trying to pin the exact point that made you trip-off and lose self-control. It appears more and more that you are projecting your own insecurities onto me.

You have no evidence of a post I have made insulting you as you claimed.

You have no rebuttals to the points I have made on the thread’s topic.

You came at me with a rant, threw insults, claimed to be unfairly treated, threw a tantrum and now created a dramatic exit.

Just like some others, if I show you the evidence you’ll tell me that it’s wrong even when it’s right. You mean your insults and the insults that I didn’t do in return?

I’m pretty sure it shows that you wanted a personal fight and fizzled out because I didn’t take the bait. You wanted me to attack you so you will claim to be the wounded victim. It failed. Yet it has not stopped you from pretending now to be some victim.

If you had no rebuttal to my statements then why did you address me with emptiness, you had the option to shut up.

Your emotions got ahead of you. Carrying around all that animosity will make you get an obsession. Careful.

GeraldtheGnome: Still no. But there are strange days around lately, that I do agree with. The Bible was poorly put together and it is contradictory. If you don't believe me then just read it and you'll find out what flaws it does have. I find it strange that there's still fundamentalists that take every word in it as literally being an honest account of the past.

OldNGrey, he had nothing to show, that's why he opted to rant and not just 'show'.

1) The bible is thousands of years old, yet still widely published (showing that there is a demand).
2) The writings in it has influenced mankind (if you wish to argue that this influence is negative/positive, suit yourself, however for something to influence so many people's thinking, then it has to be a contender)
3) Memorable characters: There are people who still remember the characters and the dialogues.

I think there is more that can be taken from this topic, instead of gripping the low-hanging fruit of attacking/promoting beliefs. It was a good topic to debate. But emotions run too deep haa
