What happens to people that have never heard of Jesus? (Page 6)

Zanjan
Zanjan: In your dreams! As if you could be good all of the time, eh. What's "good" in your eyes? Whatever that is, according to God, that's NOT good enough.

He stipulates a few requirements, which if you fail to carry out, all the good things you've done are worth nothing to Him. What you do has to go above and beyond, leaving something valuable to posterity that will last. When you're entrusted with new knowledge, you have to pay it forward. Anything less is irresponsible.

Knowledge is an investment; as such, it should build and grow well beyond the principle. Read the parable of the Master who gave coin to his servants.

As it's written: "Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."

You may value heaven but you wouldn't fit in there if you brought nothing to the table.

Zanjan: Consider 6 degrees of separation. We all have connections.

If a person becomes a believer, they'll pray for their blood relatives, past, present and future. They'll continue doing that even in the hereafter. Those who've never heard of Jesus will receive the fallout from that; they will hear and God will guide them.

Do you know a single person who HASN'T heard of Jesus?

That's the hidden benefit of participating in the greatest of all adventures.

ghostgeek: You could ask, "Do you know everyone who Has heard of Jesus?" the answer being that I don't know because I don't know how many people have heard of Him.

ghostgeek: Now, as to leaving something valuable to posterity that will last, that is plainly idiotic. Nothing will last. The whole of existence is temporary so worrying about posterity is a futile act.

Zanjan: Material things don't last. Things that last are acts of virtue - they sparkle throughout time. We remember the names and amazing feats of spirit; particularly, we remember how individuals changed our world for the better. No one can take that from them.

Courage is important but if not directed to serve God, it's bound to fizzle. What you do for others and the unborn is far more remarkable than what you do for yourself.

Recently in the news, people are complaining there's a traffic jam of climbers on Mt Everest. Unfortunately, they have to step over all the dead bodies of those who didn't make it. Know what I'm saying?

You may not have done anything legendary in the eyes of the world but the world is only a tiny spot with little appreciation for the finer things. It certainly isn't aware of all the things you've done or the conditions under which you performed them. So, if you were looking for accolades, you wont get them unless you buy your name in lights or you're the first.

Do you want to be first in the eyes of the world, or first in the eyes of God?

The soul is its own witness; there are myriads of souls in the hereafter than on earth who will enjoy the fruits of your endeavours and delight in your beauty. There, that can't be hidden.
