m_leonora1111: There is a warning messages that many Christians today don't have see it in the Bible. They are most after the peace in this world that they are preaching today, in place what the Bible teaches.
When God is calling His people to come out of Babylon (Revelation 18:4), all the denominations are uniting. My question: Do you have heard someone preached the Everlasting Gospel? You can ask yourself what is the everlasting gospel? So! The Three Angels Messages of Revelation 14:6-12.

Zanjan: I've heard of "everlasting Word of God". The term comes from Jesus saying, "My Words shall not pass away". He wasn't saying the history wouldn't.

Even if this religion disappeared and all the paper with it, those Words would be carried forward by others. Notice that Prophets frequently quote the Words of Prophets gone before them. There will always be singers.

People had visions of the planet blowing up, not realizing what the end of times meant. Yet everyone ignored the Doomsday sayers when they cried out in the streets all over the world. How could that news all be bad?? They're gone now.

The citation in Rev 14: 6 says "everlasting gospel". I think there's something wrong with that, perhaps in the translation. Gospel means "good news"

Good news or bad news is NOT everlasting simply because it's no longer news. News is new information. We can remember the information or forget it. Given enough historical time, events are forgotten. The world is ever-changing.

Seems to me, *the end* is when the world as we knew it has passed away.

Zanjan: Thank you for bringing the 3 Angels to our attention - I'd forgotten that was in there, despite having read it many times. You'd be hard- pressed to identify them to Christians though.

I suppose Christians don't think of them as people - I mean, as humans. Maybe just symbols. Since they aren't named, they might not think of them as men who once walked the earth. Yet they speak to us on earth so they must be living souls.

This is the way with long-range prophecies - no actual names are ever disclosed; instead, they're given titles.

I agree about the tribulation - that's long passed. Specifically, which 3 prophecies are you speaking of left to come? Are you refering to those Angels?

I have a question, which person today is this person written in the Bible. Revelation 12:17 and 14:12. Are you one of them?

Zanjan: On reading that citation, I don't see the woman as an individual female. She has no title so I'm thinking this is a symbol. If so, there's a correlation somewhere that people could understand. A symbol is useless unless you know what it stands for, right?

I'm reminded of Jesus always addressing his mother as "woman". That seemed strange to me so I've pondered this a lot. She was persecuted for the message the Angel brought to her.

History repeats itself.....the details will vary but the principles don't.

I belong to a religion whose members have endured serious persecution in the land of its birth since its inception 176 years ago. Tens of thousands have been put to death, men, women children and babies while countless numbers are imprisoned. They live under a fanatical regime.

We're already living in a New World Order but, obviously, there are a few pockets where barbarians still dwell.

Zanjan: As you know, "Babylon" ceased to exist ages ago. At the time of the New Testament, it was already deserted and in ruin. So, that name is a symbol of materialism, undisciplined behaviour and neglect of spiritual things.

Why is it used in the New Testament? The name Babylon means "Gate of the God", so I think this indicates it's not the history of mankind but the history of God - that is, religion.

When the state of religion has become corrupt, then God calls the people to come out of that corruption. I don't think it means one has to abandon the religion, although many do walk away. I think it implies religion will need to abandon corruption and a divine force impels them to do that.

When the text says "come out of her", it's lending female traits to religion, not to corruption...because corruption doesn't bear good fruit.

The reason is the Prophets are the light and when a Revelator appears, there's a great burst of light into the world and everyone is affected by it, enlightened by it. The reality is exposed. The chaff is sifted from the wheat. Nobody will eat chaff if they can have something better.

Zanjan: Leonora, why should I consider the thoughts of those who haven't lived in the future? Christians go by what is written in the Bible. They can't lend anything new to that because they believe the future hasn't happened yet.

I wouldn't consider them to be a source of news.

I view the Biblical prophecies as all past events. They've all been fulfilled.

Zanjan: Where is Jesus? Just talking about this recently. Paul said you have to LOOK for Christ.

Christians aren't looking. Two years ago, I was in a church; the pastor said, "We're a simple people - all we need is Jesus".

The New World - it's all around you and continuing to develop. I wonder what people thought it would be like, other than instantaneous. In my experience, they didn't know but said, 'Naw, that aint it".

Please understand I don't interpret scripture for others. I can share my general thoughts but I don't pick apart the text, saying 'this is what it means'. Of course, there are some traditional symbols and people should be familiar with them. In my experience, many aren't.

Zanjan: Revelation 1 begins with a segment touching on things which "must shortly come to pass". SHORTLY is not 2,000 plus years. However long one deems that to be, the events appear to serve the ancient church believers..

This book is thought to be written around 85-95 AD

John sees only 7 churches in Asia (these are named). We all know there are at least 200,000 denominations today in Europe alone. So, that's tracking pretty far back in time. We could just skip all that as water under the bridge.

Traditional Symbols: LETTER Ordinarily, a letter is a written message; there must be a message-bearer. If it's used as a symbol, then the LETTER represents a letter in a word. So, seven letters would be a word comprised of 7 letters.

Traditional Symbols: CLOUDS Ordinarily, a cloud is a fog or mist in the atmosphere - it could be low to the ground or high above you. It could be made of water molecules or dust or a variety of things. Used as a symbol, it's anything that obscures one's view of reality. For instance, you could say "clouds of ignorance", although that's a metaphor.

Traditional Symbols: MENORAH Represents the tree of life; it's flames represent the divine lights in the world.
Judaism has two menorahs - menorat hamikdash and menorat hanukkah. The former signifies the Temple lights; it has 6 candles plus a 7th helper candle - this is the light used to light all the candles. The latter signifies the hanukkah lights - it has 8 candles with a 9th candle being the helper candle.

The 7 candlesticks in Revelations are explained in the text but this isnt anything new - it relates to the Temple Menorah. At the time of the vision there was no Temple Menorah because the Romans had recently burned down the Temple (15-20 years prior). The Jews could only use the Hanukka lights and it's still the only Menorah they use.

Zanjan: I visited it. The headliner "the final crisis is coming" doesn't apply to me. Personally, I've been through every crisis that would make even the most stalwart tremble.

God has got me through all of it. I'm nearing the end of my time on earth so I expect there will be a crisis or two left before my last breath. I have faith God will pull me through that too.

I can assure you Christians have absolutely no idea how to unite the churches, much less anyone else, as the page asserts is happening. Would be nice if they learned. Having said that, I do know a few Christians who are reaching out and I applaud their efforts.

It's doubtful that modern Christianity is "safe", considering the neigbourhood pews are emptying faster than filling.

The page sounds like a desperate plea "Don't go, don't go! You don't know what's waiting out there for you!" God would have said 'Go, little fella, explore everything - seek and ye shall find. Then compare'.

Zanjan: We all make our own choices. You remember how the Jews made theirs. They said Jesus was just a man too. He didn't fit their interpretation of Biblical text or their expectations.

Fact is, these Revelators have all been far, far greater than ordinary men. That's more than rare. Since written history, there's only been 9 of them yet billions upon billions of us. They came from among men and walked with men yet few recognized Them in Their own time.

They're cut from a different bolt of cloth and are infallible. We aren't. It's not Jesus who was to return to the world, it's the *Christ* - that's a spiritual rank.

I've read the whole Bible many times. No one needs to tell me what's in it or how to read it. How far do you think the Christians would have got if they never looked into the Old Testament?

Why should it be different with me? How could I possibly discuss your religion with you if I didnt know it well?

m_leonora1111: Yes, and I love that.God has never let nobody down. It is we that stay down thinking that we don't need the Bible anymore because we are to wise and know everything. But if someone ask us a Biblical question, the most cannot answered it Biblical. They make their own story.
My question for you, can you preached the Three Angels Messages?

About Hell! Hell is a place that God has created for Satan and his demons. Because of humans disobeying of God's LAW (10 Commandments) and don't have the faith OF Jesus. All people believe IN Jesus. They found themselves in hell when Jesus return for the third times.

Zanjan: We don't preach; we have no preachers. We each share with those who are interested. We deepen in the writings together. The Angels already stated what their messages were. The Judgment is a theme running all through the teachings of Christ.

The 3 Angels and three judgments. One can expect a fair amount of time separating these judgments; otherwise, it wouldn't make sense.

The Day of Judgment is the moment the Promised One, the Revelator, begins His mission. He has the keys to Heaven and Hell. He appears at the end of the dispensation of a Revelator.

First, is the Judgement of those who followed the previous religion. The sifting begins. From these believers come the first fruits of that religion. They accept the new Revelator and are quickened with new spiritual life. However, the rest don't so their punishment will be the most severe as they have no excuse. They will all perish.

After the Revelator passes from this world, God gives all mankind a chance to accept His new Name. He's patient; they may not have heard of Him yet. Many will accept, some won't. This continues for the duration of the dispensation, then comes the next Revelator. Wash, rinse, repeat. It's a divine pattern.

So, to put this into perspective, this is why Jesus told His Apostles to teach the Jews first. After that, the gentiles. You'll notice Jesus's disciples were Jews - they were the first fruits of the Jewish Faith. More fruits followed. More Jews than Gentiles heard the Call.

This is exactly what Christians should have expected would happen to them if they lived in the day of the Promised One, the second coming. Not many would go with Him. Most would be left behind.

A Judgement only occurs when a Revelator appears, one can put it together that there are three Reveltors to come (from the date John saw his vision). According to history, Revelators appear aprox every 500 to 1,000 years.
