Proof that man has to interpret Torah Law

DontNeedChrist:

Many here on Wireclub claim the Oral Torah was not created by G-d but was made up by "sinful man." There are also claims that Jews who regard the Oral Torah from G-d and study the Talmud ignore the Written Word and live by laws created by man. This thread is a counter argument to that mindset.

G-d of course is the final judge on all matters but every single legal matter that could ever come up in the realities of life could never be put in writing, else the Torah would literally be composed of millions upon millions of pages and impossible to read and interpret. Therefore G-d commands MAN to set up courts based on the Torah itself with RIGHTEOUS MEN meting out RIGHTEOUS judgement. Where do they seek RIGHTEOUSNESS from? G-d and His Torah.

Below are verses from the the WRITTEN TORAH that specifically discuss how MAN is to set up courts of justice and interpret the law.
Please note the words in caps are for emphasis.

Genesis 9:6 –
"Whoever sheds the blood of man THROUGH MAN shall his blood be shed, for in the image of G-d He made man."

Deuteronomy 16:18 –
“You shall set up judges and law enforcement officials for yourself in all your cities that the Lord, your G-d, is giving you, for your tribes, and THEY shall judge the people [with] righteous judgment.”

Deuteronomy 17:9 –
“And you shall come to the Levitic Kohanim (the priests) and to the judge who will be in those days, and you shall inquire, and THEY will tell you the words of judgment.”

Deuteronomy 17:10 –
“And you shall do according to the word THEY TELL YOU, from the place the Lord will choose, and you shall observe to do according to all THEY INSTRUCT YOU.”

Deuteronomy 17:11 –
“According to the law THEY INSTRUCT YOU and according to the judgment THEY SAY TO YOU, you shall do; you shall not divert from the word THEY TELL YOU, either right or left.”

Deuteronomy 17:12 –
“And the man who acts intentionally, NOT OBEYING THE KOHEN (priest) who stands there to serve the Lord, your G-d, or to the judge that man shall die, and you shall abolish evil from Israel.”

When G-d gave the Jews the Torah, it was no longer in heaven as these Deuteronomy passages describe:

Deuteronomy 30:11-14

11 – For this commandment which I command you this day, is not concealed from you, nor is it far away.

12 – IT IS NOT IN HEAVEN, that you should say, "Who will go up to heaven for us and fetch it for us, to tell [it] to us, so that we can fulfill it?"

13 – Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross to the other side of the sea for us and fetch it for us, to tell [it] to us, so that we can fulfill it?"

14 – Rather, [this] thing is very close to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that YOU CAN FULFILL IT.

-------

In Hebrew we say "Lo Bashamayim Hi" – Torah is not in Heaven.

This means once G-d gave Israel the gift of the Torah, it no longer resided in Heaven. It's now in man's hands and we are to follow it, transmit it, protect it, build fences around it, interpret it, and to create courts of justice to mete out legal rulings based on its teachings. All of the above is WRITTEN evidence of what G-d expects us to do with this gift. What WE do with it determines our livelihood and the future of the nation of Israel.
