Religious Theme Parks

AretoNyx: Oh the memories of going through the Noah fun house at Kenny Wood in my youth.
Still though there are many amusement and entertainment ways that religious views were expressed.
This amusement park video is quite interesting.

ParallaxMan: I think this is a wonderful idea, a theme park where visitors can feel the pain Jesus suffered on the cross.
On entry to the park, everyone has a celice fitted to their thigh and wears a complementary louse infested hair shirt.
There are games such as whippa-frenzy where players are lashed by monks until the skin of their back has been removed.
Hang-around, where visitors are nailed to a tree for half an hour.
During a break for lunch, five bread rolls and three fish sticks are distributed for a small fee.
Pay a visit to Rock City Central and have stones thrown at you by strangers
The theme of the park is suffering, and rap music is played constantly in the background

AretoNyx: Yeah...not the only religion featured there. There is places that are already a dark tourism trap for that stuff too. However many keep building " museum" like places for such things.
There is also those Christian haunted houses and a Noah fun house at Kenny Wood.
US seems stranger on these things than whole of Europe or where ever in the world destinations built around religion imo.

AretoNyx: Some churches reenacts in front of kids all of that sort of thing besides have camps.🙄
