spankdmonkey: Okay lets just hypotheorise that the universe was nothing but empty space once, with no matter at all that could be seen or measured at all..Things do not have to have a ending so lets presume space itself is infinate in other words there is no ending ,no one knows this but i believe that to be true .We are taught as humans that the universe is expanding but what about the space the universe is taking ?? Its there already being taken up .so we have to presume that the universe itself is infinate or space is infinate and the universe is taking it growing..What if the space is made of heaps of matter but it is so minute smaller then atoms in trace elemts that it cannot be measured by humans with any instruments known to man .and what happens is through a chain of events like a invisable string vibrating because of the wave efect in the universe pushing on and expanding its creating matter as it goes turning these invisable particles into Atoms ?? .That Would explain everything from beggining to end ,the universe is feeding of space and leaving behind matter as it goes .Just like the universe is feeding of itself and everything else is forever being churned over and changed from one substance to another just like humans strive to be bigger stronger ,faster, and expand. reach for the planets its all a will to continue to survive.Humans all have a will we are so far behind in science we are just learning to make synthetic life... The universe has been doing it for billions of years .To me the universe is doing the exact same thing and that is the reason it is expanding ,There are black holes swallowing up matter and spitting something out on the other side .I believe these black holes are spitting and churning over matter as it goes feeding of empty space that us humans think is just empty space but in reallity it is not empy .It might look empty but its not its got unseeable microscopic particles with every element and compound and substance but they are so minute nothing can measure them .But because of the universe expanding and its making matter as it goes by turning these unsseeable particles into ATOMS

Geoff: If you broke your posts into paragraphs people would be more likely to read them. Also bear in mind that just 5% of people will commonly read more than the first three lines of text in any item (I'm a web designer and that's one fact we have to keep firmly in mind).

And there is no 'a' in infinite.

spankdmonkey: yes vey true Geoff ,Especially about the paragraphs it is such a long subject to get into .but your right ,I should have left gaps

should break them up .I will in future .As for the spelling , thanks I will try and remember that

StallionKeith: The CERN large hadron collider is going to create a big bang in an experiment similar to what created our universe. We are just an experiment upon endless experiments created by ever larger beings. Its why there is no other life out there (in our universe),no god and no afterlife. How do you like them apples?

MultifariousEntity: A note on theories. A theory is an extrapolation from facts, you look at facts and ask yourself what these facts tell you about the under laying structure that creates them. I call attention to this because of the constant and ridiculous argument I hear from people about how since it's a theory there is no reason to put stock into it, creationists say the same thing about evolution.

That said, I support big bang, it's the best we have at this time. However we've got a long way to go and I'm sure that flaws will be found and revisions will be made.

Q_Jordon: I am sure when, or if, man or woman kind find how the universe was created, we as a species would attempt to find a way to destroy the very means of our existence by reversing it.

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it will certainly destroy the human race.

cuarl: Q_Jordon you may be right. But if we are to destroy ourselves Id rather it be out of curiosity then hate or whatever stupid reason.
For those who dont believe in this. We all pay taxes to pay salary to our smartest and most ambitious people to figure these things out. Why not trust in them, believe and try to understand whatever theory they come up with.
Interesting thread!

spankdmonkey: Personally we read books and get taught at school and through media that this is how this happened .

and this test showed this, .Someone called a physaccist or a Scientest writes a book on their studies, and tests, of what they have been studdying for years .

Someone comes along and sais God done all this .I keep a open mind and do not shut out anything I like to hear both sides of the story .But i usually go for the one that can be explained with facts .I have never read one sentence in my life that shows a fact that god created all this .

But the big bang theory although does not explain everything, there is evidence and it is explainable with some facts .

I have a theory that going by here on earth .

humans started to pop up in different areas over time some were different then others, depending on the areas .

You look at animals for instance not all dog breeds look the same but we know they are dogs ,Goes for trees also .

Now you look out into the universe and we see different universes exist we know they do because we can see the stars at nite .Thats fact

.So just like we evolve here on earth in a smaller scale the universe expands and evolves in space ..And our first humans so far the evidence shows they might have come from Africa .some popped up a hundred years later in Europe and although all human species they were different in some ways by skin colour size hair and eye colours and also throwbacks and cross breeds ..

So i think the universe done the same thing on a larger scale over a lot lot longer period.

time has no essence in the universe except infinate ..Who is to say that maybe the big bang did not happen but what if before a universe is created it might be very well not a empty space but a space full of unreacted dormant elements that are smaller then atoms .?

and what these black holes do is churns it over as it grows in space and at the speed and force it sucks it through ,it creates matter in other words its feeding of space and creating matter as it goes .

and the matter it has created is actually the excrement it has left behind what we call planets .Its the black holes shit that is getting spat out just like a cow shits and mushrooms grow on it .Bacteria ,We are just bacteria made up of a number of elements reacting like any other chemical reaction that eventualy burns up and becomes different substance ,

I believe just like we as humans continue to expand our species and grow bigger stronger and excel ,Just like any other species in the plant or insect world tries to expand so does the universe .IT is eating up space and creatting matter .

We cannot see the matter in space because its in atom size spread out ,But it is there and until the black hole sucks it through or spits it out .We dont have this matter in our universe because it has already spat it out and that is how earth and these planets in our solar system where made .so besides our planets and sun the rest of the space is empty surounding us .

but the space that the black hole has not reached yet has heaps of matter in unseen atoms minute until it spits it out and creates a new universe .We cannot see that far so may never know

xubix: Everything Answer of question gves more questions. What was there before the BB ? One big planet ? What was there before the big planet. Hocome the universe is never ending... is that possible? One thing, there are more lifeforms than we know... but utill we have peace on earth with one central gouvernment they will not show themselves to us.

MultifariousEntity: There was nothing before the big bang.

Ofc that might be incorrect, but what is known is that anything that happened before the big bang could not effect anything that happened after. Therefore, it's an acceptable assumption. It doesn't matter what happened before the big bang.

Inthe same manor with Einstein´s theory of relativity. He called it the Invariation-teory. (which is the english word for it I think)

xubix: well so what i think is that what they say is either true or not true.. if there was a big bang... what was before it... is the universe never ending? if so why if not why? There is still no real evidence than what they want us to believe.
