Blackshoes: Yes Lori I did little research on the moon landing and the theory that we didn't go ?
One .Its ludicrous to believe that we didn't land on the moon ..
Second ..I personally meet one of the advisers too President Gerald Ford . Trust we went to the Moon.
I also spoke to a engineer that worked on the moon lander ..

PATRICK MOORE: ..[W]hen you looked up at the sky, could you actually see the stars in the solar corona in spite of the glare? ..

ARMSTRONG: We were never able to see stars from the lunar surface or on the daylight side of the Moon by eye without looking through the optics. I don't recall during the period of time that we were photographing the solar corona what stars we could see.

COLLINS: I don't remember seeing any.

Interestingly, the only emotion I read as sincere is when Armstrong chuckles about "those of you watching from the surface..." as if that's the irony, that the mission took place on the earth's surface...This whole thing stinks to high heaven ---------------- Glummest hero's in history? FateFreak
FateFreak: Mumbai:
Just 10 days after a Babha Atomic Research Centre scientist was found murdered in mysterious circumstances, another 27-year old woman scientist working with India’s premier nuclear research institution allegedly committed suicide in her official residential quarters early Thursday.
Tital Pal, hailing from Kolkata was found hanging with a dupatta tied to a window rod at her 14th floor flat in Nilgiri apartments of Anushakti Nagar, in North East Mumbai, police said.
Tital, who worked in Radio Chemistry and Isotope group of the BARC, reportedly went home at 4.30 pm on Wednesday, which was two hours earlier than her usual time.

When her father called her and found that she was not answering the phone, he intimated the neighbours. “In the evening, her father phoned her but she did not attend the call. Her father then phoned her neighbours, who knocked at the door, but Tital did not respond to them as well,” Deputy Police Commissioner Dilip Sawant said.

The neighbours subsequently opened the door and found Tital hanging. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.

According to DCP Sawant, there was no suicide note and the police are trying to determine the motive behind her extreme step.

The incident comes ten days after the alleged murder of BARC scientist Mahadevan Iyer, a mechanical engineer working in the Reactor Group. His body was found in his first floor apartment in the BARC quarters in South Mumbai on February 22, sending shock waves in the institution.

Tital had joined BARC three year ago and had told her colleagues that she was about to get married.

The police were recording the statement of Tital’s parents and neighbours to find out what led her to commit suicide.

lori100: More on^^^^ May 2011-------Nuclear scientists are dying under mysterious circumstances. Why is the Centre in hush-hush mode? -----------June 8, 2009: L. Mahalingam, a 47-year-old senior scientific officer at the Kaiga Atomic Power Station in Karwar, Karnataka, went on a morning walk and never returned. Five days later, his highly decomposed body was fished out from the Kali river. His family did not believe it was him, until a DNA test confirmed identity.
Nov. 24, 2009: More than 20 workers at the Kaiga Atomic Power Station fell ill after drinking tritium-laced water. Around 90 workers who drank from the same water cooler were also treated.

Dec. 30, 2009: Two young researchers, Umang Singh and Partha Pratim Bag, were burnt to death in a mysterious fire in the modular lab of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre’s (BARC) radiation and photochemistry department. The third-floor lab, situated in the high-security BARC complex in Trombay, was one kilometre away from the nuclear reactors. Neither Singh nor Bag was dealing with inflammable material.
Feb. 22, 2010: Mahadevan Padma-nabhan Iyer, a 48-year-old mechanical engineer at the BARC reaction group, was found dead in his staff quarters in Anand Bhavan in south Mumbai. At first, it seemed that Iyer had suffered a heart attack. The police presumed suicide, but the autopsy confirmed murder.
April 8, 2010: Cobalt-60, a radioactive element, reached Mayapuri scrap market, New Delhi. A scrap dealer was killed by the radiation and many others were exposed to severe radiation. Nuclear investigators traced the material to Delhi University’s chemistry department.

June 28, 2010: The presence of radioactive material in a room at the Aligarh Muslim University campus triggered panic. As this report was going to press, the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) was sending a team of experts to survey radioactive sources in the university’s physics department.
Even if one of these incidents—either directly or indirectly linked to our nuclear institutions—remains unresolved, it is sufficient reason for India’s nuclear establishment to sit up and worry. Unfortunately, most of these incidents, which have occurred over a period of one year, still remain a mystery.
------------------For the five days, until Mahalingam’s decomposed body was found snagged on a submerged tree in the Kali river, speculation was rife that he could have been the target of some sinister plot aimed at the country’s nuclear programme. Coming as it did after the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, the “missing case” had taken on a seemingly ominous twist.
-----------Umang Singh and Partha Pratim Bag were two promising scientists in a team of researchers in the chemistry group. Only two of them from their 10-member team were present on that fateful afternoon when the mysterious fire burnt down the lab.
No fire extinguishers were at hand and the fire tender lost its way and reached the lab 45 minutes too late. The fire had consumed everything in the lab, including the two scientists. That there was nothing inflammable in the lab only deepened the mystery.

lori100: Leading HIV/AIDS experts, activists among casualties of shot down Malaysian plane----------------------------Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was flying over eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region on Thursday when it was blasted by a surface-to-air missile. The exploded aircraft crashed and brought down with it all 298 people on board and a significant share of humanity's ability to fight and end the HIV and AIDS epidemic.

On board the plane and among those who perished were researchers and activists bound for an international conference in Melbourne, Australia, where they would have gathered to learn ways to combat HIV and AIDS, which remain prevalent and continue to claim about 1.5 million lives per year.

lori100: The cancer industry, for example, depends entirely on the continued existence of cancer for its profits and power.

This theory says that a team of scientists on board MH17 were about to present key research of an AIDS breakthrough which would result in a real cure. Thus, they had to be taken out in order to protect the highly-profitable cancer industry, which generates billions of dollars for pharmaceutical companies that practically run the government.

And if you don't believe that Big Pharma interests dominate government activities, then ask yourself why FedEx is being charged with multiple felony crimes by the U.S. government for innocently delivering packages from online pharmacies.

---------------------But one of the ideas that does raise legitimate question is the photo of the claimed "recovered passports" of MH17 passengers. Miraculously, all these passports appear to be in mint condition, even though the aircraft itself is a smoldering nightmare of wreckage

ghostgeek: Organisers of the international Aids conference that starts in Melbourne this weekend have been able to confirm the names of six delegates killed when Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine on Thursday. Compare that to the 12,000 delegates that are expected to travel to Melbourne for the five-day conference and it becomes clear that Aids research is unlikely to be seriously affected by this disaster.
