Mini Ice Age? (Page 50)

Smoke from the end of times!

I wonder what was burning and how idiotic Carbon Tax people feel now?

We also had a major storm with rain clouds from Portugal to the east coast of England. I guess it could have been due to smoke particles

Spaceweathjers gloomy summary fails to hide the fact that the sun has more coordinated activity than before....

"VERY QUIET SUN: Despite the emergence of two new sunspots (AR2774 and AR2775), solar activity remains very low. The sun's X-ray output is flat, and the chance of solar flares today is no more than 1%. Almost a year after it began, Solar Cycle 25 has not yet broken the doldrums of Solar Minimum" Spaceweather.

..polar Coronal Holes and a " symmetrical " pattern show the suns weather to have signs of life... even if the picture is still bleak,...

SWE thinks the Polar Vortex is in trouble already.

"10-15 day forecast: The tropospheric polar vortex breaks down, releasing colder weather down into the United States and Northern Europe....

THE POLAR VORTEX IN TROUBLE
When we see the strong high-pressure systems crawling up towards the north, it usually means that at some point in time and space, the jet stream flow will be disrupted, and the weather will get wild. The jet stream is a large and powerful stream of air (wind) at around 8-11km (5-7mi) altitude. It flows west-to-east around the entire hemisphere, affecting pressure systems, and their strength, thus shaping our weather at the surface." Severe Weather Europe.

A number of sunspots have been appearing on the Suns disk since my post six days ago making a clear break from the long spotless stretches and perhaps heralding the start of a new a new type of solar weather, and perhaps more unsettled weather here on Earth.

This is the second time I have posted this, rolly eyes if my doubting SWs gloomy outlook in the post above caused computer land to throw a switch...???

Probably right for this winter and spring.

Famines have been connected to long stretches without sunspots but that was in the past with different weather systems.

This might also be the beginning of a modern MWP for just the same reasons , a lack of solar activity to alter the weather away from a trend to blue skys.

This was forecast before the sunspots appeared,....

"Cold Arctic outbreak forecast to spread across the United States after Sunday, with temperature anomaly more than 40 °F below average "

https://www.severe-weather.eu/global-weather/cold-forecast-arctic-outbreak-united-states-mk/

...ands seems to be reasonably the continuation of the preceding weather patterns...

....meaning that the old Solar cycle with its Minimum has done its work and now we are setting out into the new and much changed weather systems of the new world order...all neatly organized and arranged by Nature.

But as the Sun is now less energetic and its internal cycles are coinciding more and more.....

Ice station America!

Late Sea Ice, or no sea ice in October might mean the cold has shifted to the abandoned continent.

https://www.severe-weather.eu/news/arctic-ocean-sea-ice-2020-jet-stream-effect-winter-fa/

I think sea ice formation is caused by rainfall and what changes the rain and run off will alter the sea ice formation.

The lack of Arctic sea ice seems to mean that you could sail directly from the Orkney or Shetland islands to Alaska by just sailing North.

And the Pacific could reach to Norway Scotland and Denmark!

The National Snow and Ice Data Centres page which started the news and speculation

http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/

You can see while its not a straight line from the UK it is simple and safe navigation now to the far west side of Alaska.

You might like to speculate with me that the changes in the weather are making this All Hallows Eve more spooky and atmospheric. Even the shops are stepping back from their more satanic sales pitches.

Strange to think that we should see the day when Santa's Grotto is indeed abandoned to the Mermaids and Octopuses as pundits so long ago warned us when Global Warming first arrived.

Sunspots are creeping to the edge of the Solar disk after many days crossing the Sun and making this the start of something new.

From my records in this thread it has been ten days with sunspots and their effect seems to have been bigger storms if indeed they have done anything.

The new weather system seems ready to burst in to life with all the complexity of the old but in a new pattern.

Here is SWEs look at the monster Atlantic storm which has been bringing rain to the East Coast all week.

https://www.severe-weather.eu/mcd/north-atlantic-extratropical-storm-mk/

There it is all laid out for you like an instruction book or users manual. If you can understand Blender you can understand extratropical storms from these pictures.

It is still a potential mini ice age along the Rocky Mountain range all the way almost to Mexico.

A quick look at Nullschool shows the range to have been below freezing for some weeks now.

I think that is just a little worse than normal, same as the extra heat in Australia which caused all those fires

I never believed in the Co2 Thing so I don't miss it now its gone.

One thing that would explain the extra cold without changes in the atmosphere is if the mountain range was raised higher.

Another thing to raise your eyebrows is the way the arctic very quickly refroze much of the open seaway between us and the Pacific shortly after I posted about it above, according to US sources.
