Adapt drools over a list of scientists now backing a Mini Ice Age.

I just saw a rainbow the other day I wonder if that was cooling?

But is " a mini ice age " the best way to look at weather events? It could mean, well yes, slightly lower temperatures in winter but also long weeks of this burning sun shine we are experiencing today.

If it is a Mini Ice Age in a return to older Earth temperatures then there might be more extra hot and sunny days then dark and cold.

It is only a Mini Ice Age anyway and only expected to last thirty years in total. I guess there is going to be some other changes as weather systems change due to the lack of solar activity.

Adapts other recent video which predicts from published info that the Mini Ice Age in terms of cold winters will start in 2017!!

Not long now!

Hot for the gain!

"Algarve sea warmer this July

The temperature of the sea in the Algarve in July was two degrees warmer this year, than last July.

Information from the national Met Office states that the average temperature of the sea off the Algarve coast last month fluctuated between 22 degrees in Sagres and 24 degrees east of Faro. This, the Met Office believes, was due to warm winds that blew up from the Straight of Gibraltar which brought warmer waters from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic. " Portugalnews

Clearly this leaves something unsaid about when people react to climate change but is a lot clearer about when and why Governments lie- after wars or climate change when people need to change.

" Average global temperatures in the Early Carboniferous Period were high: approximately 20 °C (68 °F). However, cooling during the Middle Carboniferous reduced average global temperatures to about 12 °C (54 °F). Glaciations in Gondwana, triggered by Gondwana's southward movement, continued into the Permian and because of the lack of clear markers and breaks, the deposits of this glacial period are often referred to as Permo-Carboniferous in age." Even the carboniferous had an Ice Age.

Otterwalks has spotted Aerosols on the radar over Norway. Quite a lot of it as well.

I think this is a sign of cooling due to sea temperatures.

The Norwegians did a lot of research on this when they were notice before and I think I remember that they arrive in Norway because of a sharp temperature gradient helped by warm air over the UK , exactly as we have been seeing this August.

The Norwegians spent some years researching this and asked the question why were the aerosols heading to Norway. And indeed one possible idea was that someone was causing them to come their way...so Otterwalks sort of idea that they are all heading for the Death Camps in Poland is not so new.

Aerosols are harmful and in the past have done damage in Norway...and caused speeches like Otterwalks post at the time.

Four weeks of hot weather.

" Blistering hot weather is expected for the next four weeks as least thanks to a persistent flow of hot air sweeping up from Africa and the Continent.

Experts say anomalies in solar activity leading to displacement of the jet stream could keep the UK sweltering into the start of October.

It comes amid forecasts of more warm weather this week with thermometers hovering the mid to high 20Cs (77F- 82F) for the end of the school holidays." Express.co

But it is not all good. It could be another version of the " STRATOSPHERIC CLOUD EVENT " from some pages back. The air circulation around the poles changes and the cold moves south.

I remember when this happened before. Everything is OK until the weather changes and then it can be quite stormy and air pressure system stick and stick. So even mildly rough weather causes problems by just not going away.

So this weather system has been happening for some years. At least from the 1980s and it seems getting stronger over the years.

I don't think that it has been caused by Solar events but by planetary alignments, which are in a very strong position with the largest planets involved and with a history of being at the same time as weather events.

Another thing I remember was people complaining about the curtains being suddenly blown by the wind without much else being moved.

Allegedly strong gust of wind made the curtains fly up in to a vertical position like a board so that they are at a right angle to the window. I saw it happen a number of times.

Stratosphere shut down after 60 years.

" A Strange Thing Happened in the Stratosphere "

" High above Earth’s tropics, a pattern of winds changed recently in a way that scientists had never seen in more than 60 years of consistent measurements.

This disruption to the wind pattern – called the “quasi-biennial oscillation” – did not have any immediate impact on weather or climate as we experience it on Earth’s surface.

But it does raise interesting questions for the NASA scientists who observed it: If a pattern holds for six decades and then suddenly changes, what caused that to happen? Will it happen again? What effects might it have? "

A Catholic Conspiracy??

"Arsonists "

" In the north, meanwhile, a large-scale blaze was raging in the Douro International Natural Park, near Freixo de Espada a Cinta on the border with Spain.

“We have had to evacuate a retirement home, the flames came very close,” said Joao Possacos, mayor of the affected village of Bruco.

About 100 forest rangers protested in Lisbon to demand higher pay and more staff.
“Three hundred and seventeen forest rangers are not enough to secure the security of Portugal’s forests,” said the head of their union, Luis Pesca.

Across the border in Spain in the northwestern region of Galicia, firefighters and water-dropping aircraft continued to battle two major blazes in the province of Orense.
The wildfires near the towns of Entrimo and Oimbra have been burning since Tuesday and they have so far ravaged around 5,000 hectares (12,000 acres) of land, the regional government of Galicia said in a statement.

Other fires continued in the north and southwest of Spain.

But Agriculture Minister Isabel Garcia Tejerina has played down the scale of the fires this year.

According to her ministry, wildfires destroyed almost 40,000 hectares (100,000 acres) of land between January and August – an area close to the size of Barbados.
But this is still far less than the average for the period, which since 2006 has been around 78,000 hectares.

Many of the fires are suspected to be the work of arsonists.

On Thursday, a man was arrested in a natural park in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia, suspected of having set paper and plastic bags on fire to try to spark a blaze near the small town of Almaden de la Plata.

“He is a resident (in the area) and has confessed,” a spokesman for police in Andalusia told AFP."
