AretoNyx: I have argued with Arch...but it really was not much eventually we agreed. Though it was more on a how of a thing.

I laugh at pointless conspiracy and remember when I thought it was doing good when it always does nothing. Especially with all the linguistics like cults do with deepities.
However some prefer end day or doom cults to whatever cults defined in encyclopedia to dictionary. Some enjoy that gloom and doom , and get sort of a high on misery loves company manipulativeness. All things logical fallacy including name calling or ad hom ...including racist tin foil hattery. I do not expect much to change and only can hope a better way by majority for better angels of our nature. Some things get better and other things never are resolved with the harm that comes of such.
Some avoid doom others enjoy it all.

AretoNyx: I have not a fear of climate change nor this pandemic. Though understand why some would. I live in a fist world country with access to health care even if having to pay out of pocket more than a faith healer asks for. It makes money to create the worst fears and superiority complexes out of such cults and cure all infomercials.
Some get very very rich on that. Not sure if these people actually have such great faith or are just con artists...however I can see why some are good at that sort of thing.

Nicotina: Catholic Church doctrine is that The Pope is God's representative on Earth, classifying The Catholic Church as a cult is appropriate.
