kittybobo34: Religious fanatics generally have the opinion that morality comes from religion. I disagree, morality is a part of human culture no matter what religion is in force. I think instead religion has taken on the cloak of morality. Christianity once was ok with sending kids into battle as cannon fodder, because the opinion at the time was that they didn't get a soul until maturity. Abortion was considered ok in certain circumstances.

Morality as nothing to do with human culture (thank God), its foundation is religion and specifically the ten commandments even many atheists acknowledge that. As for Christianity sending kids into battle when did you make up that fantasy. The NT does not say send kids into battle which if you ever bothered reading it you would know, morality includes telling the truth. As for the view that the soul comes with maturity sounds like some New Age or Gnostic invention.
