Studies have shown many whom are above average intelligence DO believe in a God. They are also more easily hypnotised too. a Belief is just a concept and idea based on own feelings and emotions plus teachings of others. hence those In high level teaching /peer group pressures etc will more easily adopt such concepts and resist any attempts to persuade otherwise. It ought to be noted that when we get a religious person going overboard to 'protect ' religion and shut down and comments against . they are often seen as having serious doubts and are over compensating to 'prove' to self they are correct. We have had several incidents where homosexuals are in denial and to 'prove' they are NOT take extreme action against homosexuals such as murder etc . anyway we digress. stupidity is deemed as lack of intelligence but intelligence alone is not ideal. we have had masterminds with very high levels or intelligence eg IQ 150 + but driving trains or cabs.Nor running world. "DRIVE is needed linked to intelligence to achieve things above others. Where we have a highly driven person even adequate intelligence will also them to succeed in life .
