flappes_flappy_ears: The forum is for positive comments only. It's all very well saying "I'm sorry, but I don't agree because I don't see how it's possible for this reason etc." That's just your opinion, I'm fine with that. We can't all have the same opinion after all. Spreading abuse and hate and misgendering (which fyi is an arrestable offense) and talking irrelevant religious nonsense is not fine.

srbiddy09: It's sad to see people using the Bible as an excuse to justify their hate and prejudice. Especially, since it's clear even from a cursory reading of the New Testament that Christ preached about love, compassion, empathy and acceptance. Essentially, he encouraged us to put aside our diifferences and love one another as brothers and sisters.

Unfortunately, some people ignore this and continue to use antiquated and "out of context" quotes from the Old Testament as a justification for their hatred and exclusionary beliefs. But remember, there is nothing in the Old Testament that Christ did not correct or clarify in the New Testament when he came upon the earth and preached his message of love and acceptance. If you can't understand that, then you have completely missed Christ's message and I feel sorry for you.

I just want to clarify something. I might not be religious, but I have nothing against religious people. One of my good friends on wire that I talk to at the moment is actually religious. What I do have against is people who use the Bible/religion/God to justify their own biased opinions and bigotry, like RoseLil up above and others before.
