Best Anime Ever (Page 15) Sailor_Mercury: My anime experience is limited, but Sailor Moon continues to stand out in excellence for its rich narrative, themes of collective strength vs individual, and its characterization. I liked Armitage iii for its exploration of robot ethics and it did a grat job at that. Finally, I recently saw Kino with a friend of mine. I'm only a couple episodes in, but its rare form to explore both adventure and loneliness so intertwined with one another. I will probably see more soon. SumTzuZero: Cowboy Bebop, Tri-gun, and Samurai Champlu are all super good....I lived in Japan for 7years and I know that most Japanese would put One Piece or Naruto as the most popular... (Edited by SumTzuZero) AretoNyx: There are so many still coming out on Crunchyroll to other apps. There are newer shows though many have very similar ways to sell themselves. What will anime look like in the next ten years I wonder. AretoNyx: Been into Fireforce and others lately. Caravan Story really is more of a game, but Fireforce has been in an event. Many games turn into or are from anime. AretoNyx: I enjoy how many anime came from manga, and video games or however else. Though sadly many artists never make much , studios close , and much gets lost to history. Well at least the stuff having less propaganda lost. Though still kinda enjoy older anime with propaganda just as much as cartoons for the time as seen with Saberspark reviews in example. yescat: "Girls und Panzer" is pretty good, if you're into tanks that is. "Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!" is a fairly decent cringe comedy. Although the anime ends abruptly, mostly because it was made to promote the manga which is still ongoing. "Ghost Stories - eng dub", is a better comedy, although most of their jokes are very dated now. The uncensored version of "Angel Cop" is a pretty good sci-fi cop action anime, although it's pretty dated too, very dated and somewhat inflammatory. AretoNyx: Just because dated doesn't mean it can not be good. Why do I feel I watched almost all anime there is to see. That makes me feel old. Lol yescat: I meant "dated" more in the sense of younger viewers not getting the jokes because it references older things. Also, I wouldn't have listed those if I thought they were bad. AretoNyx: Some things still can be shown to younger viewers and things are fine. Having saberspark in a quote about cartoons not just being for kids so the same for anime. He also reviews some anime some times. I have seen some anime definitely not for kids but I am not into that stuff. Story based stuff is better but really I prefer more imaginative thought provoking, and humorous anime. AretoNyx: The best is subjective however I like hearing opinions of others too. Thanks again for everyone sharing. Seek_: I would say that the best shoujo's gotta be 'Snow White With The Red Hair' very pure and enjoyable to watch. A lot of feminist-y characters (male and female) It's got an interesting storyline as well. AretoNyx: What is better to watch anime ... Funimation or Crunchyroll? There are many other apps with anime but our family mostly watches Crunchyroll. I have watched through there for years. Though I am curious if others think this better more than others. AretoNyx: Some times manga is so different and same with live action. I wonder the processes of how people decide on such things to show as such as anime. I just hope the people involved get paid well for good works. |
