lavidaexplorer: Can you please post the links that could be useful for those beginners in web dev like me. Cause i've been starting to study web. I'm more c# programming on my previous work.

Geoff: http://www.w3schools.com/ Is a good place to start for the very basics. But if you've been doing C# you should pick up the HTML/CSS side of things really quick, not to mention JavaScript.

Codeacademy is a good place to start if you're looking to go beyond mere looks.

As for reference materials, W3Schools isn't bad, but they do have a depressing tendency to keep some outdated practices on their site.

http://StackOverflow.com is excellent as an archive of problems and solutions for a wide range of programming issues, their sections on web dev technologies are extensive.

JUST an IT GUY
JUST an IT GUY: Wordpress sucks is highly overrated.. You can get on a great hosting site like webhosting hub and use any free socializing script aka cms or news or even forum site ,and have people add there own videos and music,, by the way multimedia isn't music alone..multimedia encompasses all forms of media hence "multi" cdrom- docs -text..song sounds video text and so forth.. The point
is get a free socializing cms like Oxwall and webhosting hub has it and installs it via one simple click. it is pretty cool:

good luck
