The mods do not seem to know what to do about my situation. (Spoke with you about it once or twice too, Ruby.) Beyond the contact us and help, is there any other way of getting a hold of anyone? Because literally every other site I go to works. I changed absolutely nothing prior to having a problem, I can log on the site just fine.. however, when I try to go into a room (such as bingo).. I can get in, but the text in the text area does not scroll in the window. Also, the numbers for the bingo game may count down 5 numbers or so .. and then that freezes too. Nothing at all has been changed on my end. I have tried multiple browsers. I am able to get to sites that have switched to html5. They work. So flash is not the problem because the numbers do show up .. and do count down roughly 5 numbers .... and then totally freeze. I am not getting the flash of light glitch or the black screen glitch that a lot of people are getting with html5. So flash and html5 isn't it. I just can't get any answer at all back from wire. Has anyone heard back from wire after sending them "contact us" or "help" emails? InkySue: Yeah Ruby .. I can't get the rooms to work at all. I mean I can get in. I can type. Other people can see me. I can see the names on the room list. But if anybody sends me a PM I don't get it until I sign back in. I get wire mail messages just fine. But while typing them .. it is like the site lags out on me and it takes a while for them to post. In the bingo room the numbers still count down by about 4 or 5 numbers and then they totally stop. It really is strange. I've never seen anything like it. It feels like a car stalling out. Things begin to look fine and then poof, stalls out. I might even see a couple of lines of text in the bingo rooms after I go in .. but then nothing. The existing text stays on the screen .. nothing appears and then goes away. The emotes still move if there are any on the screen .. so the screens aren't simply freezing. It is like some how I have been blocked from seeing anything anyone types including strangers. I have pretty much resigned myself to not being able to enjoy chat. I have no clue what happened. I didn't change anything about the computer or load anything new .. no updates or anything. I didn't switch internet service providers .. no new equipment. I have called my internet service provider and they came and even swapped out my equipment completely .. climbed the pole .. and they said it isn't my internet. So i'm at a total loss. Never had this stuff happen before. At some point I may try to re-load my OS and see if that makes a difference but honestly I don't think it will .. because the computer was fine one day .. and then poof, wire chat no longer scrolled the next day. It really was over night with me doing absolutely nothing in the mean time. Nobody has access to the computer .. I live alone. Nobody that visits ever uses the computer. So this one truly has me stumped. I can get to other sites that use html5 .. no real issue other than their own programming issues that come with any new thing. The WebGL sites work fine .. I don't know. I don't get it at all. lol |
