Removing a chat room from "My Rooms"

oldsailor2k: How do you remove a room that you placed as a favorite and it appears in "my rooms" and you no longer want it there ?

Corwin: I believe if you click on the gold star at the left of the room tab it will "un-favorite".

oldsailor2k: thanks i removed the star but the room stayed listed ...oh well

Corwin: Hmmm... I just looked at my own My Rooms list and noticed an un-starred room that I removed from my list many moons ago.

Must be a glitch.

Corwin: Yeah, I suppose there are worse glitches that can happen.

Ginny of FL 1: I think I have the answer: After removing the gold star, click on the "thumbs up" feature and it decreases the total (provided you've given it the thumbs up previously). I just tried this method, and it works for me.

Eastern Canuck: I have one on my "My Rooms" list too - someone added me as moderator without asking me and now it's on my list and I'd like to remove it.

Corwin: I seem to remember that coming up before. If I remember correctly, you need to enter the room, "demote" yourself as Host, then you should be able to un-favorite the room.

alytexas: any suggestions, in the event, was blocked from the room and now cannot enter room to "demote" self. Does this mean am stuck with this room remaining on my list? Have removed the star, but there is the room still..
