I am looking for an evening or night shift job... Imperfect_Perfection: Does anyone have any helpful tips to finding a night job. I have two young children and to avoid daycare I want to work in the evening, at night, and weekends. My resume is less than impressive but I am a quick learner and hard worker. I haven't had any luck yet and would appreciate any advice. andrewmatusheski: i work at la fitness, if you have one of our clubs around your area id apply there, go in and talk to a manager, you could work, front desk, and they also have a kids klub where you could drop your children off while youre even working. good luck though! Xx_KrAsH_xX: Best bet if you have a less then impressive resume is to cold-canvass,if your just putting your resume in with other peoples resume's you will struggle to find work. Just go to places you would like to work, ask to see the manager or whoever handles their employment and ask them face to face,so you can at least explain your less then impressive resume, tell them your reasons for wanting evening/night shift, your keen to work etc etc.. Dont be afraid to ring back people (who have said they have nothing at the moment) a couple of weeks later <<< Shows your keen, they do look for that.. Good luck with the job hunting Imperfect_Perfection: I have never heard plan B before. What is it? Don't you need a liscense to be a realtor? Hyenablood: lots of places have over-night jobs, wal-mart, other that offer wearhouse workers deals. | Work Chat Room Similar Conversations |
