Aussie government 'Days of our lives' episode

In case you missed it, the guy Kevin (07) was elected in 2007 to replace the horrible Howard, perpertrator of 'work choices' (a nasty pay poor people less policy).
Shortly after, the wranger he trusted as a deputy (Julia), shot the sherrif (Kevin)...in the back (at night, with 'faceless men', repeatedly.
He became our foreign affairs minister, who's just resigned, whilst in a foreign country (which made her look completely stupid), so he can now challenge her for the top job (which he was elected to hold in the first place). There's speculation that he quit before he got fired, and if so, excellent timing dude.
Julia called a vote for Monday after Kevin quit on Thursday, because she knew it wouldn't give him time to influence the members of the party. Meanwhile, Tony the decendant of Howard is smiling in a way that makes sharks nervous....and poor people.
Tony could state that there will be no attempt to instigate any form of 'work choices' at all, in any way, at any time, which with the help of a couple of independant politicians, would see he and his party elected back into power faster than I can sneeze.

Catcha

I just saw on the news she died. I liked her tunes.
