Ignoring the real issues can not only be outright stupid but counterproductive. Maybe before worrying about saving Africa, which some argue (not me) is in its state due to the west in the first place, it would make more sense to first stop making messes then worrying about cleaning up the ones we have already (debatable) made. So we support all this which is effectively very similar to Kony that we wish to stop or do not care about, but we want to save Africa from war criminals? Does that make much sense? The group supports direct military intervention and its money supports the Ugandan government's army. (So the 30 dollars goes to soldiers to pay for guns and whatnot to kill even more????) At the end of its video there is a call to sponsor the campaign and on the Invisible Children website you can buy an advocacy kit for $30 which includes stickers and a T-shirt. There are also reports about 70 per cent of the organisation's income goes to film making, salaries and travel expenses. US-based Charity Navigator gives the group a low two-star rating for lack of financial accountability. The point is with affairs especially in the international arena the story is never simple and unfortunately is very complicated, before taking action to solve a problem you need to know a lot of what is going on(which u wont in a 30 min video) otherwise u stand to try to help and actually make things worse. Sure your heart may have been in the right place but its not much good for the extra 10 000 people that have been gunned down with guns paid for from your funds. The state of geopolitics in my view is nothing short of a sick game at the moment. To make Africa and the world a better place a hell of a lot has to be done and a good start would stop bombing every man and his dog back to the stone age aka lets go bomb Iran for weapons they MAY have. The problem with the world today is that the masses attitude is quite frankly disgraceful they have no clue about anything pretty much all they do is be used as pawns as Putin once said by their masters (banking cartel) and dig their own grave and every other poor persons grave as well. They are not being productive they are being destructive, whether its personal relationships between 2 people, whether international affairs, whether its going to work and being irresponsible, whether its having children. Whether its having a drink. The attitude of the masses (not every1 but alot) is appalling in every area of human life. And the most funny thing is no1 is benefiting from it, not wealthy people, not them self, every1 is losing lol. The attitude of the masses has to change in my opinion or dare I say we will be looking at catastrophic consequences for our actions (extinction?) As the social, political and economic situation of the world inevitably continues to deteriorate, I have hope a moment will come where alot of people say oh shit we gotta change or we are finished.
