I had an active infection over the weekend ansd I was in isolation in my room.  Went to 2 doctor appointments today. Not the best news I ever had.  I now have an active infection in both of my feet. I start a new antibiotic tomorrow. Hopefully, this will keep the right foot from geting worse. I have 2 doctor appointments again next week. Outside of that, it's just days of wine and roses!!   Oh well. I don't want to sound :dramaqueeh:  Just a bad day.  Gots to get btter tomorrow  ray aztecsgrad: Hey Friends. Well, the surgery was fine. I have to see the doctor on Monday. I was sore and tired, of course. So, I ate supper and pretty much stayed in my room and lounged on the comfy bed. I plan on napping this afternoon. I see the surgeon on Monday I don't anticiptae any major problems. Well, I am a diabetic and I have a hard time healing. So, I am sure she will be taking every precautionary measure she can. That's all I know ad got for now. I will be posting more as I learn more. Until then, thanks for all the support and friendship. All your well wishes have meant alot and are much appreciated!! I will have it as an outpatient and I wil be back at the facility right after I get done it looks like. No lengthly stay in the hospital, barring any complications. I feel pretty good going in. We'l just have to see what the surgeon has to say once she does her side of the deal. I may not come in any tomorrow because I am like everyone else. i feel like a pissed off train wreck after I have an operation and all I want to do is konk out out and be be myself. I am sure she will order any extra pain medication I may need to keep it under control while I am healing. Hopefully, this one wil work. This is surgery #7 on my feet in the 12 years I have been a diabeic. I have ben in our hospital so much that the food service area has a sandwich named ater me it seems!! Thanks for everyone's friendship and support here lately through my journey through this. I know I have been a little on the trying side. Easy to do I guess when facing a hard circumstance. I'll try to keep everyone updated as well as I can as soon as I feel well enough to get back into a chat kind of mood. Talk to everyone then!! Tony Carroll aztecsgrad aztecsgrad: Hey chat friends. I found out today that my next foot surgery will be on December 17. I met with the surgeon today and went over a few things and did some x rays. She wants some blood work done and she's contacting my other doctors already. I'm kind of nervous, of course. Not really scared thaough. This is surgery #7 on the feet. Guess 3rd time wasn't the charm!!! At least I know many people that work at the local hospital where I will be having the operation. I have know 1 lady tat works there for 40 years and several others for 30. And I was in school with 5 nurses that work there. So, I have my care covered hopefully by people who have known me forever. I have always had good luck and great treatment here, so that is no concern.  for me and wish me and hope. I will need the support of my cha buds now! Thanks you all!! Had a pretty fun day around here with my neighbors cutting up with Halloween jokes and other highlights. 2 of my nurses bout my SUBWAY turkey sandwich and cookies for me. Very delicious. Thanks Amanda!! Had a nice visit from my little sister. LOL She's 49. It was too chilly for me to go running around and I really didn't have the money. Sister's gonna order me some new shirts and sweatpants. I'll get them before Thanksgiving. I'll look good for the Holidays. Hope everyone has a safe Halloween weekend out there!!
