U can have lots of friends as u want, but if we are in a relationship, the lover will limite u to make female friends or male friends for sure, being in a relationship, we have to treat them like everything, u cannot betray them, so being single will be free-er. If we haven't well-prepared to be in a relationship, don't rush...  Bikuristar: I think that a mature relationship would not involve trying to control your partner's life. I would not limit the amount of male friends that a girl I'm dating has. That's because I want her to be happy and I'm secure enough to know that she wouldn't cheat on me. I would hope that my companion wouldn't limit me from doing what I wanted either. Being a couple does not necessarily mean the end of being an individual. and on a personal note, I think everyone needs to be in a bad relationship at one point in their lives.
