I am really hoping to get in up close to these amazing waterfalls I found! For now I will climb around rickety scaffolding fixing a house!  Blue eyed wanderer: I am beat! Spent the day hunting agates on the cliffs. Time for bed! Nothing like working on the edge of a huge drop. I would guess maybe 70ft. or so.             Blue eyed wanderer: Work is done for the moment!!! I think I might just wander around the mountains for a few days! Blue eyed wanderer: All my shows this year are cancelled so I thought I would share some photos of the past, gems, gem hunting, and gem selling!     Blue eyed wanderer: Oh and more plants... I used to grow a variety of bromeliad like the Billbergia in the first two photos. The third is a wild savlia, and the last is a couple Peruvian torch cacti, also known as Trichocereus pachanio.     Blue eyed wanderer: I love to wander around in the swamps! Nothing like a swim with the gators! I used to live here around a decade ago. And some echinacea flowers, because why not!     Blue eyed wanderer: I love plants! Horticulture is awesome, and working with plants is highly therapeutic. I have grown a lot of different species over the years, gingers are still one of my favorites. Here is Passiflora specie The passion vine, Tropical water lily and two species Hedychium ginger, or butterfly ginger.     Blue eyed wanderer: I think I am going to disappear for the weekend. To much to see and nothing here for me to stick around all weekend... Blue eyed wanderer: This is a piece of lace agate and amethyst I collected in Creede. I am pushing out the sides and then I am going to clean all the iron oxiced off the crystals   Blue eyed wanderer: Some amethyst and lace agate I collected and started slabbing up. Lots of silver in these pieces and nice banding.   |
