Progressivism as a reform movement in the modern age is different than the Progressive Era historical party, which had a mixture of left leaning pro-education, pro-labor laws (Especially child labor), and increasing welfare, with much more right leaning views on eugenics, racism, eliminating 'incompetent voters' from registry, as well as prohibition enforcement and ending prostitution. Chaotic Good: This cheap trinket on Amazon struck me. It was called a celtic pentagram, but I think the Chinese manufacturers did a sly. Because it has the exact color and order presented in Wuxing element cycle, strongly prevailing in Chinese traditional medicine, beliefs, and is even seen in Taoism and Feng Shui. Red for fire, which warms the Earth in yellow, which produces metal in white, which carries the water, in blue, which nourishes the wood in green, which feeds the fire in red. The center is the yin with the yang radiating out to the sides. And the pentagram depicts the control cycle on the same elements. Just goes to show that there is never one way to interpret symbols found across multiple belief systems all around the world.  E s s e n c e: OMG, this is awesome!!!!
