I started the book tenuously, not sure whether I would enjoy it. But, to my surprise and delight, I could not put it down. The story immediately gripped my attention with the descriptive writing and immediate frustration of the main character Jimmy.I wanted to know what would happen next in the hectic culture of Los Angeles , a place completely foreign to Jimmy. To my surprise, it did not take long for this midwestern conservative guy to be transformed as he encounters a luscious oh so sexy woman and a Over The Top Steamy erotic romance keeps the pages turning. Jimmy is sensitive , kind, and surprisingly passionate and kinky , as his torrid affair unfolds. Without giving away the story, I was disappointed when the book ended. The author leaves us hanging- wanting answers and begging for more!! It is a fast read, and whenever I see a chocolate covered strawberry I think Oooh La La!!! Comfort Food: Opening my eyes in a daze, I hear the voice of the flight attendant, “Welcome to Los Angeles.” This is a dream come true as I stare out the window of the plane. I have always wanted to live in L.A. since I was a young boy. Not sure why, maybe it was all the images that I have seen on television of palm trees, the beaches, beautiful women, and the fast cars. I am excited to begin this new adventure and scared as hell at the same time! Reaching into my pocket, I retrieve my cell phone to check the time. 7:15 a.m., right on time. As the aircraft comes to a stop, I stand from my seat taking my briefcase from the overhead bin. Mentally I am going through my check list while preparing to exit the plane, Need to catch the shuttle to the car rental center, have to be at the condominium complex at 10 a.m. Welcome to L.A. Jimmy now focus! Maria is dressed in workout clothes. She must be heading to the gym as her long dark hair is pulled back into a braided pony tail. You can see that she has taken very good care of herself. Her skin is a soft cinnamon brown, with a beautiful ultra-white smile, full lips, and the most inviting big brown eyes and oh my God, she has curves for days.
