Hipster Degeneration??!!?

I must admit, when it comes to the subculture known as "Hipsters" I am at a loss!! I don't understand them, and I fear what I don't understand!!! I cannot get my mind around the "why" and the "reason" for being and/or becoming a hipster!!? The only thing I can come up with is, it's just another way to stand out, do something different, metaphorically scream..."HEY LOOK AT ME, IM NOT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, IM DIFFERENT AND DO IRONIC THINGS!!" That being said, I feel completely comfortable in saying that "Hipsters" are attention whores!! They have cornered the market on "douchebaggery" and "Ironic Idiocy"! The funny thing to me is, they seem to think they are doing something new. They seem to think they are "Original Cool" and have discovered a new brand of "deck" as they call it, which means cool in "hipster" btw! What "deck" ACTUALLY MEANS IS :

Hmmmm...nope...I do not see any deffinition in there about "deck" meaning "cool"...how interresting!! But I digress, they think they have discovered something new, when in reality, they are just stealing someone elses shit!! As with all fad/trends, I predict this will not last long, and come next year these unoriginal posers will be on to the next whatever non-conformist thing comes their way!! I suppose though it is the world we live in, we are all slaves to trends is some form or another. That is understandable and even somewhat excuseable, however...when you take it to the Nth degree, like those cute and cuddly, judgemental, unoriginal douchebags known as "HIPSTERS" , then it just becomes annoying and old!! We should all take a lesson from these people, they are shiny billboards of what NOT TO DO....EVER!! I am not kncocking on "hipsters" just for the sake of doing it, far from it. I just believe that if you want to be original, and/or stand out from the crowd, then actually BE original...don't just rip off something that has been around since the 50's and call it new!! Another time of confusion for mike ppl. This one goes right to the head and the heart! What the hell is up with this world, where does one end, and another begin? What the hell ever happened to honesty, to being candid, or having at least an oz. of f*$^$zx decency??!!! I think, and forgive me for saying so, all those things got lost in the proverbial shuffle of life!! Let me qualify my statements by telling you a few fundamental things that I believe. I believe that one man can love one women their entire life, and be the better for it!! I believe that trust, honesty, and true friendship are indespensible!!! I believe that one should never play mindgames with another, for F~$wz SAKE....life is too short!!! I believe that there is always hope left in the world, no matter how bad it seems. And last but not least I believe that if you are ever goin to eat at the Plaza you should have a reservation and a tie!! "What the hell?" you ask. Well, changes in life are like moves on a chess board....you always try to see 4 moves ahead, but sooner or later you always lose your king!! And the question you should be asking yourself is not, "how do I keep my ass outta checkmate?" but rather, "how the hell do I pick myself up when it happens?" You look down that long, (or short) road you have left in front of you, and decide...what speed to travel, and what direction to take when you hit a fork!! Do you leave behind a legacy of hope.....or manifesto of infamy?? Work on it ppl, because you never know the next curveball that's gonna get spit on and hurled in your general direction! I will part from this, seemingly pointless, and most likely ill advised rant with this.... always take chances, don't take life too seriously, shower at least 3rice a week, and NEVER whatever you do........................
