It was an opinion and you may not know this but i love when people express their opinions and analyzing them is always fun. I figured i would share this with all of you in hopes that someone will care to express their opinions on it. Anyway, its about serving our country. (I forewarn you, this may offend you. My intention is not to offend but to spark a healthy debate on the subject centered around the opinion I'm about to post) A man and boy were talking (i don't need to throw random details in there because i would rather skip the bullshit. If you're interested in the book just pm me) and the boy asked the man if he thought it was good to serve his country. The man said no. That he believed the army turns you into a remote controlled weapon for your country. That you should serve your principles and the army doesn't allow you to do so. You give up the right to choose your battles according to conscience. He concluded by telling the boy to NEVER surrender your right to make your own moral decisions.
