DakotaTravesty: Glorious Gadsden flag. I need a better understanding of its history... 10 years ago • Report
1 NewbieSteve34: The flag is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden, who designed it in 1775 during the American Revolution. It was also used by the Continental Marines as an early motto flag, along with the Moultrie Flag. In modern times, the Gadsden flag is a libertarian symbol. vatechfan32: "'Cause we're Metallica,"--Whiplash, Metallica. You're a Metallica fan and don't realize it that's why. InsomniacTX: Love this flag. I have one around here somewhere. Unfortunately, the powers that be here in the USA are now trying to demonize it. DakotaTravesty: Of course I am a Metallica fan I know that very well thank you.. their use of the flag is what it is |
