I know the people so I know they will be well cared for. View all 4 posts goatgirlgold: I usually had around 20 doe (mama) goats and two bucks. I was lucky good people who I sold goats to in the past wanted to expand their herd. So, my goats all went to them. They are younger people and are better able to deal with harsh winters we can get here. I know they take good care of their animals. This is a link to a fb group called, Produce Reallocation Collaborative. It is a place where farmers can list meat animals and produce they used to sell to packing houses and restaurants and have now lost their market. Most of the listings I have seen are asking way below production cost for the animals and produce. This is a way they can help keep people fed. I have seen posts from all over the country. You will have to look for the ones near you if you are interested. www.facebook.com/groups/229744435121016/?fref=nf goatgirlgold: In the end, only three things matter.
