I wear a halo to cover my horns.
I brandish wings to hide my tail.
I dawn a robe to cover my claws.
I shut my eyes to conceal the fire behind.
I force a smile to silence the screams.

You've merely befriended the mask.
Peeling it back would only send you running like the rest.
