Hello ! If you are between 18-40 yrs old, I am most likely NOT interested in a random FRIEND request or PM messages from you. As a rule, I do not add friends I have not interacted with here.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride."
With that said, I am 66 yrs. young and retired from a college administrative position after 36+ years. I enjoy family and friends, the outdoors, nature, animals, the mountains, oceans, lakes and sunsets, swimming, biking, walking, and hiking, along with a huge variety of sports, live and on TV, on many levels, to name a few.
H2O and Batteries: Here's to the start of another swimming season for many of us!!! One of my sisters lives about 30 min away and has an above the ground pool. My profile pic is of the pool here where I live. BUT, my newest swimming/party spot is at my daughter and her husband's home, where they put in a patio and inground pool this Spring. The weather in NY this past weekend was hot and sunny and the pool was ready enough for action. They had a great contractor who has more work to do, but it looks amazing so far. My son in law's birthday was also Sunday, and their neighborhood knew. My grandsons took swimming lessons over the past year and they love the water. I am blessed and so proud.

H2O and Batteries: Here's to honoring the most important living Mom in my life, my daughter. I can't believe we are spending our 4th Mothers' Day together this weekend. This pic is from her Dec 2018 Baby Shower (though it seems like it was just yesterday.) A few months later, I became "Mimi" to my twin grandsons. Happy Mothers' Day to all Moms!

H2O and Batteries: Thank you. There are a few others in my pictures. I started doing these back in the Fall-first I made turkeys with pinecones or walnuts for the body and hazel nuts or pompoms for heads, and Fall colored artificial leaves for the feathers. From there I have tried making lots of holiday figures, animals, and trees. This is a good hobby for me while cutting back on the budget, and staying home more.
