            H2O and Batteries: They are so sweet and cute, and then their halos fall off, their horns pop out, and they become little terrors. I didn't realize the terrible twos started any time after they turn one. UUUGGGHHHH!!!! No fair!!! I have been a bit lazy today, but I am visiting my daughter and grandsons for most of the day tomorrow, while Dad is away. Trying to teach sharing,no hitting, taking turns, etc. is not so easy. Trying not to laugh when you are trying to discipline them is sometimes harder. I always return home totally wiped out, but with a huge smile in my heart! 3 years ago • Report 3 H2O and Batteries: Oh my gosh...these guys are so much fun. They are learning to talk......some how, truck, duck, and yuck are all popular words, but they sound very similar, and all kinda sound like they start with F ! My daughter kept her wedding bouquet and it is on display above the living room bay window. One of my grandsons keeps pointing to it, declaring it is "yuck". He has a point, the flowers are dead. You can't help but laugh. It is amazing watching these little boys grow up. Grandma and Grammie babysat together yesterday (7/11). We get along quite well and have a pretty good time together. Our children were preparing to go on vacation with our grandsons and had errands, packing, etc. to do. I hung out late, and while Daddy was packing the car, my daughter put a mesh collapsible laundry basket at the top of the stairs with dirty laundry in it. We got distracted and within a minute, one of my grandsons screeched. He had pulled the basket over his head, after removing the dirty clothes from it. It came to his ankles. He was so proud of himself!!!! UUGGGHHH!! Again. we couldn't help laughing. H2O and Batteries: TY. They are not identical, but their father is also a twin, and he and his twin look exactly alike, even though they are not identical either. My grandsons are easy to tell apart, by height and hair, but their little faces are quite similar. I am blessed to have healthy, happy grandsons, and they do melt my heart. (At least someone is melting it!) |
