New Project Site Up

Hey peeps,

Here is another project that has been keeping me busy. I have teamed up with some hip hop artists (beat fanatics) over the past few months and have been producing a whole line of music for sale online. I am not directly selling these but do get a cut of the sales. I am merely hired for the musicality portion of it (so basically I write all the music outside of the drum beats). Yes, I Am Still Alive And Kicking....

Being on the road can be real tough on the body - that is if you had to drive 15 hours through the night to reach your destination. I just got back from North Carolina about a week ago and I had a blast. Southern hospitality is a REAL concept. I was pleased to see how welcoming the community was of us Canadians (my girlfriend and myself) She performed at the Dream Acres Music Festival. We stayed in Roanoke Rapids, NC and we managed to take in some sights while we were there. We did enjoy the warmth as it is getting a little cool up here in Canada. We are now into the Fall season (as why I am excited to get out of here to Hawaii for a few weeks in December).

Aside from all of that, I have been immersing myself in my music projects as always, but have been trying real hard to come on here and chat with everyone. Kinda sucks when once upon a time, I was a regular chatter, now a faded memory I certainly haven't forgotten all of you, and if I had the time to come on here, I would. Life calls from time to time and I must answer it.

I'M GOING TO THE GRAMMY AWARDS!

Well, this summer is definitely going to be a hard one to top - maybe this year even. As some of you know, I have been doing a lot of travelling lately around Canada and the US. Next month I am hitting up New York City and then spending a few days down in North Carolina as my girlfriend promotes her new album. Not to mention I will be in Hawaii for 2 weeks in December for a little R&R. Well, my girlfriend just gave me my early birthday gift today (which is not until February) She ended up getting me an extra ticket to go with her to the Grammy Awards in February 2011! This means I will be attending the actual ceremonies with backstage passes to ALL, yes ALL the afterparties and private shindigs. Too much to look forward to. Keys on the red carpet? Never thought I'd see the day.
