Out of the 14 bands that asked me about becoming a keyboardist, I responded to 6 of them. One of them just got back today. At this moment, they are looking for a permanent keyboardist. After exchanging a few emails I have agreed to go into the studio with them and write the keyboards/synth parts for all their songs and do backing vocals. I figured it's another great way to get my name on another record even if I don't end up with them permanently - there is still much to discuss regarding that. I have setup a meeting hopefully for Friday so I will have an update for you all this weekend. Here's a tribute to a good friend, great artist, and an influential being on the Canadian music scene today. He lost his battle to lung cancer at age 39 November 24, 2009. Your music will live on! I will never forget his teachings. RIP.Maybe I should check my messages more often....So yeah I have 2 MySpace's. One which you all know about, and well the other, I totally neglect for months. Just checked it and after reading 106 emails I found 13 requests from bands to hire me as a keyboardist I've already emailed back 6 to see what exactly they want done. I'll keep you all posted. |
