What happened today?

My boyfriend totally hates me right now because he heard a rumor about me but its a lie, he wont talk to me, look at me, or even tel me he loves me. When I'm doing talking the whole conversation I tell him bye and he just hangs up. It's been like this for two weeks now. What should i do?
