meohi812: Hey folks I've got some great news to share. As most of my friends know I've been living with someone I met online while on AOL. We have been living together for many years now. He is one of the kindest most loving man I have ever met. He has supported me through every thing I've ever tried to do.
Well, we are going to be married very soon. It will be a simple ceremony at City Hall. We are waiting for a copy of my birth certificate so we can get the license.
I wanted to share this with you all because quite frankly though you may not know it a lot of my AOL friends have saved my life back a long time ago. You were all there during the most unhappy times of my life just by being there when I needed someone to talk to. To distract me and take my mind off how horrible my life really was. I lived in a destructive relationship with an alcoholic/drug addict who suffered from severe depression issues.
There were many nights I would be alone and thinking I didn't have anything to live for. And many nights where I contemplated ending it. I would go on line and most of the people I spoke to had no idea of what I was going through. But they were there with a kind word and friendship.
I met the love of my life on line in a chat room on AOL. We came together in 2006 and have been together since. Through bad health for both of us, financial crisis and every thing else life can throw at you we have made together. Do now we are going to get married.
You all were there when I was unhappy so I wanted you all to hear some really great and happy news.
