MontanaMatt: God I love this place! Me and 7 of my buddies started building this cabin in 1974. Between our sophmore and junior years in high school. The ashes of 3 of those guys are now underneath the floorboards of the bar. Exactly where they wanted to spend eternity. And some day my ashes will join them.
It started out as an 8 sided rock wall cabin. Since then we've added a mother in law room with 2 beds.... Indoor tiled shower..... The day spa..... An outdoor shower with 4 walls but no roof. And the hotel. A beautiful insulated sheet rocked painted exact replica of a $22 dollar motel room.... Including everything bolted down! Including a medicine cabinet. Back in the day that would have been filled with various drugs. Now it's filled with old prescription bottles of drugs we needed to stay alive to this point! Lol
A stand alone bar.... that has a jukebox.... A popcorn machine..... And a 270 can collection of old beer cans. And just about every piece of beeraphanalia that's ever been made. Back in the day it had the capability of running four kegs at the same time..... And almost always did.

In 1994 we had a 20 year anniversary at the cabin. And people came from all over the country. Everybody was encouraged to bring food and booze and whatever drug of choice they had at the time. This place has always been very communal . Everything here belonged to everybody here. At one point I did some figuring. There was at one point..... Over 3 pounds of weed... Over a pound of hash.... About 3 oz of cocaine..... Enough mushrooms to fuck up a 3rd world country.... and several hundred hits of acid.
It was a serious party. As good a party as I have ever been involved in!
I've spent most of my life searching for the next adventure. I'm pretty sure I'll never find another adventure that matches this place. I will keep looking... But I have no expectations of finding it.
