 Friends         | Age has nothing to do with vitality. I feel as young as I did 30 years ago, and twice as fun. At first I'm shy, however. I find enjoyment in little things...a good book, a winter sunset, an intelligent conversation. I'm happy to treat you with respect, and ask that you do the same for me. No phone, cam, Skype or Yahoo. Not interested in meeting anyone in person.  Mrs Deb: Did you ever wish you'd made bolder choices? 8 years ago • Report • Link 1 Mrs Deb: May we all purpose to enjoy this New Year fully, treating each other with respect as we delight in our friendships. Mrs Deb: As a writer, sometimes I reimagine how my life could have been had I made different choices. What if I'd been less shy? More willing? It's interesting to think about what might have happened had I responded just a little differently. Mrs Deb: I always thought I'd age gracefully, but that's not happening. I still catch myself thinking I'm much younger than I am, and greatly resenting my true age. Mrs Deb: I'm satisfied with the guilty verdict in the Boston Marathon Bomber case. I knew he was guilty. Mrs Deb: There's a certain awkwardness when I see someone I'd like to chat with. Do I intiate? Do I like his profile? So difficult. Mrs Deb: Always nervous about writing in these feeds. How to say enough without saying too much. Quite perplexing. |
