Sports car

The first car I ever had
Was black 1970 Pontiac fire bird
Had chrome rims with new tires
just a beauty on the road

Install new deck and speakers
A big eagle on the hood
Then went driving on the highway
as fast as i could I could

And would always wash it down
And shine it nice and clean
And every one will say
Wowww!! That’s the best car I seen

But after a while I feel
The car was not for me
many think I was a play boy
But I was really very lonely

But the thing with possessions
You lose interest one day
So I sold the car to a friend
And watch as he drove it away

After that Pontiac fire bird
I got a two door Monte Carlo
Lose my interest for it in time
So again I stand and watch it go

Then I bough a dodge dynasty
The most beautiful 4 door car
But just like all the rest
Well I guess you know so far

Now I got black ford explorer
And a white jeep Cherokee
But my next car will be a Benz
Think a Mercedes is the one for me

A Friend years ago in Trinidad
Wish was to drive a red sports car
And he went to England
Hoping To be racing driver

And he would always tells us
A red sports car will take his life
At the races a red car runs in to him
And he did not survive

And it’s ironic how it happen
Like he could have seem the future
And we could not believe it
He really died by a red sports car

His name was Brahma
And I can still hear him say
Arid sports car is going to
Take his life on day

And the poster he had
Of a red sports car on his wall
I can still remember him
Showing it to us all
