 ovflo: JOURNEY TO HEAVEN.. .. I was about 20 years old, working in construction. One day I asked God, "Would you show me heaven?" That night I lay in bed, suddenly I was taken up into heaven at great speed. Off In the distance I could see a light. As I got closer it was New Jerusalem, the city foursquare. I slowed down and landed on a golden street. Light was coming thru the gold in the street and also the gold in the buildings. An angel appeared and showed me to a door of one of the units. I liked how an angel appears just when needed. I went thru the door and saw a single bed, no other furniture. There was an alcove in the golden wall with an ancient golden oil lamp in it. The worst is I went into the store to get some things some food for someone on the street. After I gave it to her i turned to walk away and stepped in a huge pile of dog poop. Is he ok? ovflo: Can we overcome hostility? Yes, if we do it right. The faith preachers faced hostile reactions from various sources published in newspapers or radio. They were called all sorts of names and stories were made up about them. They realized if they reacted to the lies or defended themselves that a storm would continue to circle around them. So the holy spirit told the faith preachers to stay quiet, and don't fight back. The ministries of faith have cont'd to grow in spite of opposition. So when your opposed and lied about, ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, and stay quiet in front of the storm of opposition. ovflo: When a person is abusive toward you the best defence is to pray in your spirit for that person and see if you can manage a smile toward them. Kenneth Hagin Sr did this with his aunt who was holding back his inheritance. Ken knocked on her door and stood on the porch while she went on an anger rampage. Ken prayed for her in his spirt and smiled. His aunt looked at him and melted, and said, "Ken pray for me" Then she gave him the money he was owed. ovflo: I lay down on the bed to read 5 chapters in the book of Jeremiah. Afterward I went outside to a park & saw people there that I knew playing musical instruments. The flowers were profuse, some growing in the grass and taller flowers among the trees. I was in wonder at what I was seeing especially how light could shine thru gold. Then God took me back to my bed on earth.. |
