In my neighborhood, we throw a festival with a green parade every year. This year, my boyfriend and I used it as an opportunity to throw a party and get rid of a turkey he got for free last November. We spatchcocked it. I dry brined it for three days. Then we grilled it with a ginger ale mop sauce. I'm so proud of us. We did such a fantastic job. I wish I had taken more photos of the party and the whole food spread, but I DID get a really awesome photo of the main event.
