pogostick76: I moved about a year ago from nyc to suburbs of NJ not sure if I ever adjusted to suburb life I am still clinging to my NY plates as if they were an artifact of my old life. My dream has been to be able to walk to work within 20 mins I feel far from that dream. I gained fresh air and space and less cost yet I miss the grind, sea of people and the compactness of the city. I still commute daily 2 hrs one way to work. Need a job that's closer to my new life.
Anyone here move from a big city to the suburbs?

pogostick76: 6 classes 24/66 credits in doctorate program still all As 4.0gpa who 2 more classes next session feel like brain is melting from stress. I have thought about taking less than 2 classes every 8 week session but I really want to finish spring 2021. I dont want this spilling into 2022. I just need to be better with time management. Perhaps a remote job so I dont have an epic commute. Up to 4hrs a day are burned up commuting. Perhaps I moved too far from nyc. I enjoy working there the good high paying jobs are there.
