cedarrrrock: Elephants holding up the world while riding on the back of a sea turtle? Cool! Is that the symbol of an environmental group or perhaps the meme of some native tribe? It seems like I've seen that somewhere before. Did someone knit that for you?

The Dark Tower. “"See the TURTLE of enormous girth! On his shell he holds the earth. His thought is slow but always kind; he holds us all within his mind .On his back all vows are made; he sees the truth but mayn't aid

this is from a Stephen King book, turtles are actually in a lot of creation myths, the
Iroquois use a sea turtle.....I love these creation stories from all different cultures.....

couchpotatoewannabe: FINALLY!!!!.... Someone brave enough to put the truth out there for all to see. Not only is the Earth actually flat, and held up by elephants on a giant turtle, but it's made of cleverly assembled strands of wool.
