So I thought we had all organised our stupidly vast secret Santa nonsense for Australia. I thought I had to buy something for my Dad, which I did... and it is very specific to my Dad. Then I get told this morning that it's all changed and now I have to buy a gift for Oisin, who is my sister's boyfriend.
I love how they didn't tell me until AFTER I'd already purchased something for my Dad... so now I have to return it, which I hate doing, but now I'm on this back and forth with my sister about what he needs. Emily (my sister) said to me that Paddy (my Step Mother) said that I was just gonna get him some underwear from work (which I can't, as we haven't got any and won't be getting any until next year... which I'd already told Dad when he requested the same thing...) So now I might have to wonder around bookshops looking at Cocktail recipe books and see which ones he hasn't got already... but apparently he's not very materialistic!
Songbird_nz: Yea... there's a part of me that really wants to do that... but also... I kinda need the money... and if I got a refund for this gift I've already purchased then I can use that to go towards Oisin's gift instead. I'm pretty much gonna need all the money I can get before we go away...
