(Makes 2)

2 Potatoes
Half an onion
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Basil
Grapeseed or any other conventional cooking oil

Dice the onion.

Grate the potatoes into a cloth or towel.

Add the salt, pepper and garlic powder to the potatoes and mix using your hands.

Add the diced onion and mix with your hands.

Set your frying pan's heat to high and add oil until pan is well covered.

While pan is heating close the cloth and squeeze excess liquid out of the potato mixture.

When pan is heated drop in half of the potato mixture. Use a spatula to flatten, leaving approx. 1/2 a centimeter thickness. As edges begin to darken, flip with the spatula and a fork for support. Repeat until both sides are golden brown. Place the finished hashed brown in paper towel to soak up excess oil. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.

Serve with a cup of equine bovine chesticle milk.
