This Album is one of two collections of photos that were made over a period of six months or so of a vineyard of Chardonnay grapes. This vineyard happens to be located right where I repeatedly pass it by as I come and go from town. Although I posted the other part first, it was actually the second part, and this is the first. I’m doing it that way so that in the arrangement on my Pictures page, this first part will be above the second part, as it should be.
This first part shows the development of the grapes throughout the growing season, from the first sprouting of leaves on the dormant vines to the grapes fully grown, hanging in big, fat clusters. The other part of the collection, the second part, shows the big climax of that vineyard’s season, what it’s all about, the actual harvesting of the grapes.
If you’re going to look at these Albums, do yourself a favor and and look at them in order. It’ll make more sense to do it that way.
