As the camera continues to turn, now pointing pretty much to the east, a forest of fir trees can be seen a little ways off in the distance. Before arriving here at The Knolls I had passed through this dense forest. We can also see that the there are three kinds of trees in the upper Knoll. Going from left to right, we can see the bright green foliage of those trees show Bay Laurels, with blue sky showing through the branches. In the foreground of those trees, just to the right and above the patch of Lupin blossoms, we can see a young Douglas Fir, the brightest green of the bunch. The duller green trees to the right are Coast Live Oaks.
